Best Digital Piano : Welcome!

QUICK TIP: My call on the best digital piano 2010

Welcome to Best Digital Piano.

Are you looking for a digital piano that does it all but won’t leave you paying for it for the next 10 years?

You might be confused and frustrated at the sheer weight of choice out there in your search for the best digital piano that YOUR money can buy?

Shopping online can be a wonderful experience and overwhelming at the same time. The aim of my blog is to offer you some informed opinion on which digital piano is going to be the best fit for you.

I am a piano player of 10 years. I am a digital piano player of 9 of those years (equally, I shifted from acoustic drums to electric drums after a similarly short period of time – the benefits to my family and neighbours are pretty self explanatory, but we’ll get on to more of that later!)

I have put this blog together to ensure that you get the information you need on how to select the most appropriate digital piano for your current budget, playing level and style.

I find a lot of people who have taken my recommendations over the years quite simply bypass the weight of info and end up buying this – I named it my best digital piano of 2010. Hey, if I just saved you some time – all the better!

I tend to focus on the most established brands of piano. For no other reason other than to say you get good customer service and excellent after sales support (provided you buy a new rather than second hand digital piano, of course)

My suggestions here are my own and I aim to cover the largest range of digi pianos that my fingers will allow me to type. I appreciate you might be in the market right now – in which case I suggest you take a look at these best deals today.

Start Your Child With Violin Lessons With a Violin Teacher at Avloni Academy of Music

Music instruction is one of the most meaningful ways for children to spend their free time. One of the instruments are becoming more popular these days, violin, and Avloni Academy of Music has qualified violin teachers who are ready to help your child learn this wonderful instrument.
Avloni Academy of Music was established in 2006, combines two well-known music schools: The Lamorinda Academy of Music and Art, and The Polonsky Piano School. Dr. Umida Avloni envisioned a place where students not only learn to play instruments, but the study music theory, give them a holistic education and appreciation of music.
In today’s public school systems, budget cuts force music programs to be eliminated with alarming regularity. A musical education has been shown to engage students and give them the opportunity to introduce different forms of self-expression. When they are denied that during a normal school day, parents who have the means have no other choice than to withdraw independent music teachers to expose their children to the world of music. Violin Teachers are an important part of a child’s education because the violin teacher will ensure that a student’s academic skills are developed, and the child a creative outlet to express themselves.
There are many disciplines violin teachers subscribe to, but eventually, they will choose the one most in keeping with a child’s needs. The violin teachers self-study with a number of instructors to gain insight into the different methods. A learned violin teacher will give their knowledge to their students by teaching them to embrace the instrument, and to realize that learning something new is a process that does not provide overnight success. A dedicated violin teacher will encourage a child to be creative, flexible and enthusiastic. Above all, a violin teacher giving a passion for learning, making students realize that education is a lifelong process, we never stop learning. Such
violin teachers is the standard at Avloni Academy of Music. Their violin teachers are available for private lessons, as well as groups from duos to quintets. The violin teachers can introduce a student who has never played a stringed instrument before, and one that has an interest in developing a talent. Avloni violin teachers include theory and composition in their private lessons, giving students the opportunity to learn the background of the instrument, as well as renowned violinists who are well known in musical circles. A child prodigy will often show extraordinary skill, and an exceptional violin teacher will nurture your child’s talents, allowing him or her to realize their full potential. A violin teacher will never force a child to develop a talent they might not even be able to realize.

Two Hot Ways to Learn Piano

It’s only natural to be a little bit overwhelmed when you first start learning to play the piano. Most people never consider how challenging becoming a good pianist can be. But that certainly doesn’t mean that it’s impossible. As a matter of fact, there are two very different ways of approaching piano learning. It all depends on what kind of pianist you want to be.

You best possibility for acheiving a good level of piano skill is by learning classical music. An understanding of music theory and the skill of reading music is essential, if you want to have the ability to play a variety of music. Moving to a foreign country has a lot in common with learning to play the piano. Wthout being able to speak the native language, you won’t make significant progress. It would’nt be a good idea to move to Paris without learning at least the minimum words necessary, would it? It’s the same way with the piano or any other instrument on the face of the planet. Without knowing how to read music you’re really not going to get very far or get very much out of piano lessons of any kind.

There are certainly some prodigies in the world who are able to reproduce entire songs by ear and memory, but if you were a prodigy you would already know. If that’s not the case, and you want to be able to play classical music, learning to read music is mandatory

On the other hand, if all you want to do is play your favorite songs, there is a faster and easier way of going about learning to play piano. Chording is the other style. Keep in mind that melody and rhythm are the basis of every song. There are 12 major and 12 minor keys in music. The construction of classical piano technique is built within each of these keys on a series of scales. The advantage of using chords is that it allows you play music without considering the scales.

Almost every piece of sheet music includes the specific notes required to play the song as it is written including the keys to the chords that the scales are built around. In other words, just by learning how to play all the chords, you can make it sound like the song. Without actually having to play the song precisely the way it was written.

Chording is much faster and easier to learn than classical piano, but even if you learn to play the piano by using chords you should also at some point learn how to read music and play those songs more precisely. Again, it all depends on what kind of pianist you want to become. The main thing is to be consistent. Daily practice in a quiet well lit place will advance your piano skills far faster than several hours one or two days a week. Sometimes, practicing will be the last thing you feel like doing. But, remember, that old joke(“How do you get to Carnegie Hall?…..answer : Practice, Practice, Practice”) is true.

It’s not always wise to include easy and piano in the same sentence. Overnight accomplishment in piano progress, is obviously the stuff of dreams. However there are a couple of easy piano lessons that you can keep in mind when you are first beginning to play. So why don’t we just consider how you develop a feel for playing the piano.

Having a feel for where your hands are on the keyboard means that you’re not looking at your hands all the time to know where to place them. But, at the beginning, you should concentrate on learning to read music. Which is valuable training for not looking at your hands when you play. Most piano teachers will have you begin your lessons by finding middle C. The majority of piano professors will insist that you locate, and start from middle C when you begin your instruction. They do this because middle C. is the easiest note to find on the keyboard and the C. major scale is the easiest to play. By learning the C. major scale you can learn a little bit about reading music, a little bit about fingering, and a touch of music theory when it comes to scales and octaves.

But since the C. major scale doesn’t contain any of the black keys it’s a terrible place to start .Because using the black keys on the piano it’s much easier to find major scales, such as C major in particular. They are the least valuable places to begin your instruction. The truth of the matter is, that it’s much easier to find the black keys. There are five in every octave. One arrangement of three and another collection of two. Each of the black keys has two white keys on either side of it. If you begin with a scale that uses the black keys instead of C. major you develop a much better feel for where your hands are on the piano. Fairly quickly you’ll be able to find the notes on the piano, by feeling where the black keys are relative to your finger placement.

Perhaps you’ve observed professional pianists who have a technique for reaching the white notes on the keyboard, by playing with their fingers closer to the black keys. The idea behind this is that your hands and fingers will develop a more natural feel for their position on the keyboard. Instead of starting with C major, better to begin with B natural. The best way to develop a feel for where your fingers are on the piano keyboard, is by learning a few major scales. And as your hands develop their memory, each day will be easier than the one before.
